WbtR Workshop: From Visual to Literary Art

WbtR is pleased to present a three-hour live workshop featuring local artist and writer Kerry Molina! Kerry will lead us through writing exercises based on visual art and share perspectives on creativity. The workshop will be followed by a critique session and a reading during which participants will be able to share their workshop or other writing. Don’t miss this chance to learn, write and connect with other writers!

Member Registration Fee: $45 (Members from Virginia Writers Club chapters included – please note your chapter affiliation in the PayPal comments field.)
Non-member Registration Fee: $55
Snacks will be provided and are included in the registration fee. Registrations cannot be accepted at the door on the day of the event. Sorry, we cannot issue refunds. This event is geared toward writers at any level, ages 18 and up. While we respect various genres and styles, we do ask that any shared writing be appropriate for a general audience (up to PG-13 rating). Masks are required for all, regardless of vaccination status.

About the Presenter
Award-winning writer and artist Kerry Molina specializes in mixed-media pieces that celebrate and layer colors, words and nostalgia and believes everyone is capable of creating art. She combines her passion for papers, ephemera, images and text to produce unique, evocative pieces. Author of the children’s book Kaci Keeps Going, Kerry has published numerous articles and teaches classes from her home studio, Yellow Brick Road.
